Eric Mannella
Eric is an award-winning Canadian artist and co-founder of Atelier de Brésoles. His personal work focuses on portraiture and the human figure. He is an inspiring teacher who has taught students of all ages for more than two decades. In addition to teaching at Atelier de Brésoles, Eric Mannella is an instructor of artistic anatomy and drawing at the world-renowned Syn Studio in Montreal. He has an MFA cum laude from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from York University in Toronto. Mr. Mannella is the recipient of a Forbes Foundation Travel Grant and the Prince of Wales Scholarship from the Prince of Wales Foundation. He also received a merit scholarship from the New York Academy.
Mr. Mannella was featured in the 2007 documentary film L'Art du Nu. He has given artist talks and painting demonstrations at a number of arts institutions including Concordia University, S.U.N.Y. New Paltz, Algonquin College, and ArtNOW Westmount. He has been a juror for the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada and the Institut des arts figuratifs.

Cofondateur de l’Atelier de Brésoles, Eric Mannella est un artiste peintre canadien ayant reçu de nombreux prix. Son travail personnel se concentre sur le portrait et la figure humaine. Il est un enseignant inspirant qui enseigne à des étudiants de tous âges depuis plus de deux décennies. En plus d'enseigner à l'Atelier de Brésoles, Eric Mannella est professeur d'anatomie artistique et de dessin au Syn Studio de renommée mondiale à Montréal. Il a obtenu une maîtrise en beaux-arts avec distinction de la New York Academy of Art ainsi qu’un baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l’Université York à Toronto. Récipiendaire d’une bourse de voyage de la fondation Forbes et d’une bourse d’étude de la fondation du prince de Galle, il a également reçu une bourse d’excellence de la New York Academy of Art.
En 2007, Éric a participé à L’Art du nu, documentaire portant sur l'évolution de la représentation du nu à travers la peinture, la sculpture et la photographie. Il a donné des conférences d'artistes et des démonstrations de peinture dans plusieurs institutions artistiques, dont l'Université Concordia, S.U.N.Y. New Paltz, Algonquin College et ArtNOW Westmount. Il a fait partie du jury pour la Pastel Society of Eastern Canada et l'Institut des arts figuratifs.

Allana Benham
Allana Benham is a contemporary figurative painter and co-founder of Atelier de Bresoles. She published the first English translation of Dr. Paul Richer's New Artistic Anatomy: Female Morphology, in 2015. Ms. Benham has an MFA cum laude from the New York Academy of Art and a BA with honors in Museum Studies from Brown University, and studied landscape painting at the Florence Academy. She has taught specialized courses at Ubisoft and Syn Studio, and given lectures and demonstrations at the Sadie Valeri Atelier, the Academy of Realist Art, Boston, and Algonquin College. She is a specialist in artistic anatomy and has attended dissections and surgeries for her anatomical research.

Allana Benham est une artiste peintre figurative contemporaine et cofondatrice de l’Atelier de Brésoles. Détentrice d’une maîtrise en beaux-arts avec distinction de la New York Academy of Art, et d’un baccalauréat ès arts en études muséales avec mention de l’université Brown, elle a également étudié la peinture de paysages à l’Académie des arts de Florence, en Italie. Mme Benham a donné plusieurs formations spécialisées chez Ubisoft et Syn Studio, ainsi que des conférences assorties de démonstrations à l'Atelier Sadie Valeri, l'Academie d'art realiste, Boston, et au Algonquin College. Allana est spécialiste de l’anatomie artistique et a assisté à des dissections et des opérations chirurgicales dans le cadre de ses recherches sur l’anatomie humaine.
