Based in New York City, Max Ginsburg has had a long and distinguished career as a fine artist, illustrator, and instructor at the Art Student's League of New York, the School of Visual Arts, and other schools of distinction. In this workshop, Mr. Ginsburg will emphasize seeing the unique forms of shape, light, and colour in order to paint a realistic image of the model. Everyone will paint a portrait and part of the figure, working wet-into-wet and concentrating on large shapes, in the manner of Rembrandt or Sargent. Mr. Ginsburg will demonstrate his painting technique and help students individually as they work from the model. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a master of alla prima painting.
